LETHBRIDGE POLICE SERVICE RUN

The 2020 LPS Run is going AHEAD!!

The 8th Annual Lethbridge Police Run is support of Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics this year will be a virtual run. COVID -19 has affected everyone, but we are not going to let his virus stop us from running and raising awareness and funds for our Special Olympic Athletes!

The theme for this year is

“Miles apart but closer to the GOAL”

Since the run is virtual, that means some people won’t be able to join us in person to run through our beautiful coulees here in southern Alberta, Canada. But this gives the opportunity to have people from around the world with the same GOAL of raising awareness for LETR and Special Olympics to join us.

All runners who register by August 15th will get a Commemorative 2020 LPS Run T-shirt, finisher medal and your personal bib number.  The shirts will be distinctly Canadian and will acknowledge this year of COVID -19.

Runners can run their race between Oct 1st-9th and post a photo and/ or their time  on the LPS RUN facebook page if they wish. It will be great to see runners from around the globe supporting this great cause

Thanks everybody and keep running and stay safe.
